Description Joshua 2013-04-03 09:40:18 UTC
When opening a .pptx file with a custom template (created in Powerpoint 2011/Mac) in Impress (on Ubuntu Linux), selecting the "Master Pages" drop down from the "Task Pane" results in Impress consistently crashing.

Tested with multiple presentations in .pptx format with themes applied.

The "Custom Animation" is the selected item in the "Task Pane" when Impress starts. Attempting to select "Master Pages" shows the applied theme master, then crashes immediately after.

Joshua: What's your Ubuntu version? 3.6.2 is quite old, oct 2012 (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan).
Perhaps a newer version may help? (see https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ppa)

If you still reproduce this with a newer version, perhaps you could try to retrieve an useful backtrace (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport#How_to_get_a_backtrace_on_Linux) in a file and attach the file to this bugtracker by using this link https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=63066&action=enter
