Description laurensgreven 2013-04-07 15:09:17 UTC
Problem description:

LibreOffice recovers documents after been closed unexpectedly without saving. The document it recovers is blank (no content), possibly because it was created through the "missing access rights" dialog.

Steps to reproduce (requires uneditble document):
1. Open document in LibreOffice
2. Right mouse click anywhere in document->"Edit"
3. Dialog pops up: "This document cannot be edited, possibly due to missing access rights. Do you want to edit a copy of the document?" -> Yes
4. Modify the document created by step 3.
5. Power down computer without saving changes.
6. Restart computer and open LibreOffice. When asked whether to restore documents, click yes.
7. A blank document is opened.

Current behavior:
LibreOffice opens a blank document after restoring a document.

Expected behavior:
LibreOffice should restore the modified document (step 4.)

3.5.4 is no longer supported. Please confirm that this is still a problem with a currently supported release 4.1 or 4.2 and if so mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED.

Until then marking as INVALID. Thanks for your understanding - a lot of changes have happened since 3.5.4 and we don't have the manpower to continue to check bugs reported from releases that have long since reached EOL and have not been tested by the user on a current release.
