Description ed.harkess 2013-04-11 07:47:46 UTC
Cells containing =CUMPRINC(0.003755,217,50136.32,C12,C12+1,0)/2 gave a #MACRO? error for the result when the sheet was saved, then reloaded. Re-entering the cell contents caused the correct result to be displayed for the cell. The CUMPRINC_ADD function behaves as expected.

For me the bug is trivial since the alternative function works ok.

Hi ed,
maybe you are saving in xls format, and CUMPRINC_ADD() function is there for compatibility with excel.

LibreOffice help:
""
CUMIPMT_ADD
Calculates the accumulated interest for a period.----------------------------------------------------
The functions whose names end with _ADD return the same results as the corresponding Microsoft Excel functions. Use the functions without _ADD to get results based on international standards. For example, the WEEKNUM function calculates the week number of a given date based on international standard ISO 8601, while WEEKNUM_ADD returns the same week number as Microsoft Excel.
