I am marking this as a duplicate even though this bug is reported for Mac OS X and FDO#36722 is reported for Linux. The two appear identical and the other bug offers a workaround for now. Problem description: You cannot remove footnote separator line by setting thickness to 0.0pt. This works in previous versions Steps to reproduce: 1. ....Format -- Page -- Footnote -- Thickness 2. ....Set Thickness to 0.0pt 3. .... Current behavior: Thickness reverts back to a minimum of 0.25pt and footnote separator line remains Expected behavior: Thickness should remain at 0.0pt and footnote separator line should vanish Operating System: Mac OS X Version: 4.0.2.2 release
