Description Yvon Dupuis 2013-04-15 23:10:29 UTC
Since I upgraded from LibreOffice 4.0.0.3 for Windows to version 4.0.2.2, I have been having an issue where the path that I save PDF files is not kept from one PDF to another.

I copy some information from web pages and export the info as PDF files. When I did this on version 4.0.0.3 and earlier versions, the save path was always the same one. Since the new version 4.0.2.2, I save a #1.PDF file to a given path and when I proceed to save another one #2.pdf, the path is not the same.

I checked the settings in version 4.0.0.3 and it points to c:\User\(Username)\Documents (Tool - Actions - LibreOffice - Path). This is the default Path but when I export a PDf file to another path, It keeps it until I save to another path. The path by default in version 4.0.2.2 is the same, but if I export a PDf file to another path, the next save reverts back to the default.

I have setup 2 computers and have compared all options and have not found any differences.

Can you please explain to me is this is a BUG or is there a way to always save automatically to the last selected Path.

I thank you in advance for your attention to this issue.

Regards

Hi Yvon, please see Bug 34303. If I didn't misunderstand, your request is different with others.

Then you could change status of your report to DUPLICATE or NOTABUG.

not reproducible with 4.1.5.3 under Win7x64

LibO remembers last path used to save PDF even after closing the application and reloading

do you still see this issue with current LibO release using a clean user profile?

Issue was present in Libre Office for Windows and also in Mint Linux -
Newer version of Libre Office has resolved the issue in Windows and Linux.
All is good now.

Thanks
