Hi David, maybe a too high zoom? Must be a problem by the zoom. Base-Forms will take the last zoom of a writer-document. When you have zoomed in in a writer-document to 200%, close LO and open later a database, the forms will appear at 200%. Two methods to get the forms smaller: Open a writer-document. Zoom to 100%. Close the writer-document. Close LO. Open a database: Forms will appear at 100%. Second method works directly: Press the CTRL-Key and scroll with the mouse. If this works for you please set this bug to "resolved" and "notabug" Please attach a document also so we can see. A screenshot also helps. Marking as NEEDINFO - once you attach requested things mark as UNCONFIRMED and we will check to see how the forms appear on XP vs. 7 vs. Linux Thank you to mariosv, robert@familiegrosskopf.de, and Joel Madero for introducing me to the zoom facility. A 100% zoom cleared the problem. However, it is strange that zoom, once it is set somehow, remains set across all Forms until explicitly reset. Thanks again. Could be a good idea to open a new bug as feature request (Importance: medium enhancement): Forms should be opened in the zoom-factor they had been created with. |
Problem description: All my Forms suddenly became very large, so only a small portion is visible. Ps, how to I fix it? Note: I transferred the database to Windows 7 where Forms work OK, so the problem relates to XP Note: LibreOffice was recently installed for me by an IT specialist. I had previously given up on OpenOffice after years of successful use. Steps to reproduce: 1. the problem first arose when building my first report with 4.0.2.2, where the problem also persists 2. .... 3. .... Current behavior: Forms far too large to fit the screen Expected behavior: Forms to fit the screen, as designed Operating System: Windows XP Version: 4.0.2.2 release
