Hi,

Thanks for reporting.

Is it possible to provide steps how we can reproduce this behavior?
Like:
* Open LibreOffice
* Tools > Extension Manager
* Click on ...

I clicked on 'Get more extensions online' but I didn't receive a crash. Tested using Mac OSX 10.8.3 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.2

Kind regards,
Joren

Hi Joren.

The problem is with the PowerPC version of LibreOffice, not Intel.

Tested on a machine having Mac OS X 10.4.11

Yes, but how to reproduce? Which steps? Or by clicking on the 'Get more extensions online' link I said?

Hi Joren.

Sorry for not having understood before.

The steps I followed to get the error screen were:

- I opened LibreOffice
- I opened a Text Document
- I selected Tools, Extensions Manager
- In the bottom of the window is a text that says "Get more extensions online".

Clicking on this link or any of those with existing extensions error screen appears.

Take this opportunity to apologize for my poor English.

Oh I see, so I guessed it correctly this time (but guessing isn't the right way to try to reproduce a bug :p).

Thanks for your additional feedback. As I said: I can not reproduce this behavior. But can you add new extensions which you downloaded here http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center ? (this is where the link points at).

I mean:
*download an extension (.oxt file)
* Open LibreOffice
* Tools > Extension Manager
* Add
* Select extension

Does it add the extension correctly?

Kind regards,
Joren

Yes, you can add new extensions manually, but can not be added to the links.

It is a mistake is not repeated in the Intel version, PowerPC only in (which I checked before opening this bug, because I have two computers).

It depends on the developers to set the priority of the bug.

Thanks, I mark this bug again as UNCONFIRMED because I don't have a PowerPC Mac. We have to wait till it's confirmed (which may be never, because we may not support it anymore (but I don't know for sure)).

Kind regards,
Joren

Closing a PowerPC-specific bug. Please reopen if it can be reproduced on Intel hardware too.

That is, if not reproduced Intel bug, the bug is not corrected in PowerPC. Could you tell me where that aspect appears in LibreOffice standards? Thank you.

Possible this isn't fixed yet related to PowerPC's yes. But Urmas is correct. I'm sorry to tell you we dropped support for PowerPC starting from version 4.1 (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/4.1#Feature_removal_.2F_deprecation). This due the fact the code wasn't reliable and workable anymore, due the huge progressions the developers made on the source code. Supporting PowerPC's would take to much valuable and rare development time.

I hope you understand

Kind regards,
Joren

My understanding LibreOffice support the PowerPC platform is irrelevant. It's a business decision that I regret, because I become updated computer suite.

Clearly make the same decision at the time erroneous took Mozilla. However, thanks for your comments
