I can confirm this using Linux Mint 14 x64 with LibreOffice Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 5441e509f87c96ca36913bd443152adbb8ad2c9

Michael: do you know who may help about this?
Comment 3 Michael Meeks 2013-05-11 14:32:38 UTC
Interesting - it looks as if there is some problem with missing filters for these file formats; could it be a packaging problem.

Can you try opening those files and seeing if it works ?

Possibly this is a 64bit problem - the library naming might be difficult; hard to know really.

I tried to open an XPM but Writer opens it like txt file.

with gdb, I noticed:
- m_lFilters.size() gives 146.
- XPM appears at least twice
for the rest I don't understand how it works.

@Julien: Can we close this bug?

Thank you Maxim for having noticed this one. Yes, I haven't got this problem since several months I think.
