Description A. Fakhouri 2013-06-15 14:33:28 UTC
When trying to use the internal update tool (in tools, settings, ..):

Expected bahavior: checking for updates; no freezing; no crash.
Actual behavior: Libreoffice freezes, and then crashes

Steps for reproduction:
1. run libreoffice.
2. Go to Tools > Settings.
3. From the left tree in the settings window, choose: LibreOfficeDev, Online Update.
4. Now click on the "Check now" button.

Command line output:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'com::sun::star::beans::UnknownPropertyException'

This seems similar to bug #48367

A. Fakhouri: could you retrieve a backtrace? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport#How_to_get_a_backtrace_on_Linux). It could help to know if it's a dup of fdo#48367 or not.

A. Fakhouri: thank you for your feedback. The bt doesn't resemble the other one.

what's your Java version? (1.6, 1.7, OpenJdk? 32 or 64?)
Did you install any LO specific extensions?

For the test, could you rename your LO directory profile and test again? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile)
