Description Luke 2013-06-29 16:24:52 UTC
This bug was tested LibreOffice v4.1 RC1 running in windows 7 and XP. It appears that LibreOffice loses formatting when importing MS .docx files. I have attached an example.

Steps to reproduce the bug:
1. Open attached Demo-Hayden-Management.docx document in writer
2. Open attached Demo-Hayden-Management.docx document in Word2007/Office 365
3. Compare the documents.

Note from item #3 from the screenshot that the Chart is rendered incorrectly.

I can confirm this tested using Windows 8 with LibreOffice 4.2.0.0 Version: 4.2.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 9bd0a976017fadf4344cbf6746abd395dfcc3cb7
TinderBox: Win-x86@6, Branch:master, Time: 2013-06-29_22:42:02 and LibreOffice 3.6.7.1.

Kind regards,
Joren

Ah dangit, looked wrong. I thought you meant point 4 (chart). This bug is regarding point 3 which is a table. I can NOT reproduce that with versions mentioned in Comment 3. Sorry for the noise.
Comment 5 Jorendc 2013-06-30 21:20:12 UTC
Well, actually this one is fixed in latest master 4.2.0.0 (see comment 3). I can confirm this behavior using LibreOffice 4.1.0.1 RC and latest 4.1.0.1 version. I also can not reproduce this behavior using LibreOffice 3.6.7.1 ... so broken somewhere in 4.0 or 4.1 ... but fixed again in 4.2.0.0.

@Bug reporter: can you confirm this is fixed using LibreOffice downloaded here: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Win-x86@6/

Kind regards,
Joren

I tested with master~2013-07-01_09.19.22_LibreOfficeDev_4.2.0.0.alpha0_Win_x86, and this bug has been fixed. Nice work team!
