Hi Ljiljan, thanks for this report too :) It is by design that it works like this. It allows you to paste a new icture/drawing over an existing one, while keeping position and such the same. Which often can be convenient. So I set this to NOTABUG... Hope you can agree. Regards. Cor But maybe you didn't understand me :) I cannot copy that rectangle (new one) if current (copied) rectangle is still selected... In order to create copy, I have to click somewhere else :) |
Problem description: not possible to copy&paste drawings in Writer if copied object is still selected. Steps to reproduce: 1. draw rectangle 2. press CTRL + C (or Edit -> Copy); don't click anywhere else in the document 3. Press CTRL + V (or Edit -> Paste) Current behavior: Object (drawing, ie. rectangle) is not copied. Expected behavior: Object (drawing, ie. rectangle) should be copied over existing one. Operating System: Ubuntu Version: 4.0.4.2 release
