In Calc, when saving a large file as ods or xls there is a progress bar at the bottom (with blue squares) to let the user know it is working on saving.  But for some reason when saving as an xlsx file, there is no progress bar.  This can be confusing to the user who can't understand why LO is "frozen", especially if they have an older and/or slower machine.

Thank you for your bug report, I can reproduce this bug running LibreOffice Version: 4.1.0.4
Build ID: 89ea49ddacd9aa532507cbf852f2bb22b1ace28 on Mac osx 10.8.4. 

I never notest that before..

NoRepro:4.2.2.1:OSX

Save as xlsx shows blue progress bar in 4.2.2.1.

Please re-open if you still encounter this with 4.2.2.1 or above.

Linux 4.2.2.1

I can confirm it is fixed now.
