Description Ákos 2013-08-08 13:19:06 UTC
Created attachment 83835 [details]
html file, with ods extension

When I open with double click the attached file in LibreOffice 4.0.x (Windows 7) the file opens with import filter, but in LibreOffice 4.1.0 (Windows 7) I got General input/output error.
The file extension is ods (the same thing happens when I rename to xls) but the content is HTML.

I test the regression on:
LibreOffice 4.1.0.1 - The file opened like before
LibreOffice 4.1.0.2 - The file opened like before
LibreOffice 4.1.0.3 - I got the error
LibreOffice 4.1.0.4 - I got the error

Hi Ákos,

thanks for reporting this bug.

renaming the file to .html makes that it openes without problems.

Best,
Cor

Yes, but it would be great if it opens WITHOUT renaming it, because then you could offer it as a download from a webpage and directly open it in calc. Renaming it to .html opens it on a browser and not in LibreOffice by default.

Does this only happen if you open it from the explorer? I checked and I can open it without a problem in master from inside Calc.

on Ubuntu: I can open the .ods from the application in 4.1.2.1
but not in 4.1.1.2
