Hi Schrorschi, is it possible to attach your sample file along with raw graphic file? So anyone here can test using same sources.

Have you tried resetting user profile? Adjusting LO memory setting?

Hi.
Unfortunately at the moment I can't post a sample file, because at home I only use LO with ubuntu, where there is so problem like this.

The problem appears on about half of our machines in our IT-Rooms in school, with 34 WinXP-Systems. (If pupils don't get graphics in their documents working, its hard for them and for us teaching)
I think I am gonna try renewing the user-profiles on this machines with perhaps more memory.

can you identify any substantial difference about the working XP machines and those showing the bug? different service packs? 32 vs 64bit? different LibO version?

Hi.

There is definitely no substanial difference, because all systems were cloned. The only thing that was indivudually done on every machine was the install of Libreoffice. But it is definitely the same version 4.1.1.2.

Does each user LO profile have the same memory configuration for graphic objects?
Menu Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Memory?

Other question: does each user insert his graphic the same way? Indeed, you have two possibilities when inserting a picture, copy the file in the document or only link the picture.

Hi. Each user has the same memory configuration. The user-profiles were cloned!
All pupils use the same method. Everyone is copying the graphic.

@schorschi
did you try upgrading to 4.1.2.3 which has been released yesterday?
Comment 9 schorschi.schorsch 2013-10-08 05:55:41 UTC
No I didn't try updating yet, because at the moment I don't have access. We are on holiday and the building is closed for me.
I'll try next week.

Hi.
The only news about this problem is that I could not fix them and several other problems (also after updating to 4.1.3) occurred.
So now I had to switch to openoffice and will probably try installing the latest 3 version of lo later...

Ok, no usable information to reproduce the problem. No bugdoc provided.

So closing as INVALID.
