i highlight some numbers from a range and note all the numbers have a "tick" quote before them (ie, ' ).

I want to do a find all and replace with nothing. Find and replace reports the tick mark (ie ' ) isn't there! but it's on every number when i select the cells.

I can manually backspace-delete the tick..that works but find and replace no can do.

I thought this was way past beta version of calc in linux mint, yet am finding very basic errors.

CANCEL.
It was some stray formatting from .xls in conversion.
CANCEL BUG.

So NOTABUG. Fixed would be if an actual code change fixed this.

Thanks for updating this report and keeping us in the loop.
