Attached file (slide 3) looks the same with that screenshot. Tested on LO 4.0.5.2, PPV 14 (2010), Win7 32bit.
@Munguanaweza, please check again your PPT file. What PP version you're using?
Hi, I am not sure exactly what you are seeing reference your comment, but I think you are saying the picture is displaying in LO in windows, the same as I found it in LO in Linux. If there is a question about the powerpoint ppt file, I saved the PPT file to my computer out of Impress and perhaps it changed it in the process. Then I uploaded it to the bug website. Here is the link to download the file directly from the source from which I downloaded it. You can try downloading it directly. http://community.middlebury.edu/~patrol/Class%20resources/nsp_oec_ch10_lecture.ppt I am using Powerpoint 2000 in WinXP. It is the Powerpoint program that came with MS OfficeSuite 2000. If you open up the downloaded ppt file in LibreOffice, you will see that many pictures cover the associated text on their particular slides. I only provided one example. If I save the file from LO as a pptx file or a opd file, the pictures will display at the proper size when I later open it in LO. It is only ppt files that don't display properly, saved as ppt from LO or downloaded directly. > If there is a question about the powerpoint ppt file, I saved the PPT file > to my computer out of Impress and perhaps it changed it in the process. Yup..that's my suspicion :) > http://community.middlebury.edu/~patrol/Class%20resources/ > nsp_oec_ch10_lecture.ppt Tested that file on LO 4.0.5.2 (Win7 32bit) & LO 3.6.7.2 (Ubuntu 12.04 32bit), it looks the same with: > Here is an example of how the Powerpoint slide is displayed in WinXP using > MS Powerpoint: > > http://www.imageshack.com/i/jmj3g5j Please mark this bug RESOLVED WORKSFORME if you can't reproduce anymore with LO 4.0.5.2 or 4.1.1.2. Otherwise it's Linux only bug with LO 4.x NOTABUG The image in question displays over text in LO dev but it also displays over text in Powerpoint 2011 on OSX. So not a LO bug but setting in test-file. Attaching screenshot. Created attachment 96608 [details]
