Hi, Thanks for the issue and the picture, I expect there is some direct formatting in the paragraph (menu Format > Paragraph), tab Outline and Numbering. Or use the menu Format > Remove direct formatting... Also there is a group of people with a great variety of skills that can offer help with questions: http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/ Pls let us know if that helps. If not: attach the file :) Cheers, Cor Thank you for your answer. Yes, you're right. "Clearing Direct Formatting" solves this problem. But that's complicated. I'm a very experienced user of multiple word processing softwares such as Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro. I never heard of "direct formatting". We shouldn't be an expert to be able to use efficiently your product. Moreover, maybe you have some answers for other bug reports I've posted recently: - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69530 - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69820 Regards. JC thanks for confirming JC. Alas I've no time now to look in details in the other issues: - bug 69530 : I recognise that behaviour. Indeed odd. - bug 69820 : I know it can be done via correct use of at least list styles. There is a group of people with a great variety of skills that can offer help with questions: http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/ Kind regards, Cor |
Created attachment 87166 [details] Blank heading in the navigator pointing to a "text body" page break. Problem description: Inserting a page break right on a heading in the document then changing this page break into another style (such as body text) does not remove the blank heading in the navigator. Steps to reproduce: 1. Insert a page break in a heading 2. Go back to where the page break has been inserted and change the style to a non-heading style 3. Notice that a blank heading is still present within the navigator Current behavior: Expected behavior: The blank heading inserted in the navigator should disappear after changing the "page break" to a non-heading style Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.1.1.2 release
