Description thomas.koehler.rovema 2013-11-06 12:35:40 UTC
Writer 4.0.6.2 (Build ID: 2e2573268451a50806fcd60ae2d9fe01dd0ce24) inserts unwanted page-breaks, if the "Update All" ("Alles Aktualisieren") command is called (Tools - Update - Update All) or if the document is exported to PDF.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the document "WrongPageBreakAfterUpdate.odt"
2. View page 40 (Chapter 5) where the chapters 5. and 5.1 are on the same page.
3. Perform the "Update All" command

Current behavior: The chapter 5.1 moves to a new page

Expected behavior: The chapter 5.1 should stay on the same page as chapter 5.

Additional info:
If I now set the cursor to the chapter 5.1 and open the "Format - Paragraph" dialog, change to the "Text Flow" tab (which shows that "Breaks - Insert" is NOT set) and close it immediately without any changes (by pressing "OK"), the chapter 5.1 moves back to the same page as chapter 5

Operating System: Linux (Other)
Version: 4.0.6.2 rc

The zip-file contains the document "WrongPageBreakAfterUpdate.odt" and a linked document (which couldn't be removed without removing the bug) in the subfolder "Hilfsdateien".

This document has grown and changed over the years and has been edited with several versions of OpenOffice/LibreOffice. I have removed as much content as possible without removing the bug.

Updating version as this has happened since before bibisect (version is oldest version we see the problem).

Also adding NEED_ADVICE as I have no clue if this is happening for a logical reason or not.

Easiest way to tell is to look at page numbers, you see a jump from 47 pages to 54 after doing an update all.
