Hi Bruce, thanks for your report. I see some cells, e.g. A4, cannot get a focus. Can you pls explain in simple steps how to create such a table, pls? Kind regards, Cor Hi Cor, The file has a somewhat complicated history. It was originally created many years ago in MS Word XP using a mail merge. Avery labels type L7162. The MS mail merge was always complicated to run so eventually I took to editing the labels by hand. I then moved over to Linux and OpenOffice then to LibreOffice. The file I sent you was a cut and paste of a single page from the old file into a new LibreOffice file. I then edited the personal content out of the labels and duplicated the single page a few times. I hope this does not complicate things too much! I see some cells, e.g. A4, cannot get a focus. Can you pls explain in simple steps how to create such a table, pls? Kind regards, Cor You are receiving this mail because: You reported the bug. Hi Bruce, thanks for that valuable information. Indeed, it looks complicated to produce, in a normal way, a (new) document that will have the same problem... Therefor for now, I set this to WONTFIX, simply since we do not know where to start... Maybe 10 years back with the other application ;) Pls keep an eye on anomalities though - quite regularly items pop up that are within our reach to fix, or at least advice upon. thanks for now, regards, Cor |
Created attachment 90521 [details] Table of address labels I cannot select certain empty cells in the table in the attached file. Placing the mouse cursor in one of these cells just causes the cursor to jump elsewhere. Note that this problem does not apply to cells with text already in them. Using up/down arrow on the keyboard just misses out the affected cells. Note that the table contains 2 columns, the problem only occurs in the left column. I believe that this bug might be connected with 32026 - data lost when dragging and dropping between cells. I originally created this file to demonstrate that problem but cannot reproduce it with the attached. For me, the two bugs usually seem to happen together. I can only overcome this problem by deleting blank rows which demonstrate this problem and then inserting new rows. The effect is a bit random but the attached should show the problem.
