Description Martin Srebotnjak 2013-12-09 20:21:35 UTC
By my logs and stats against the Dec 1 po file for 420 codeline I have all strings translated (all zeroes in untranslated and fuzzy strings).

Yet starting LO420b2 for OS X I get untranslated windows, like Start center (strings in /sfx2/uiconfig/ui.po like "New _Document", "New _Spreadsheet", "New _Presentation", "New D_rawing", "New For_mula", "New D_atabase", "_Open", "T_emplates", "Create", "_Help", "E_xtensions"), untranslated most of Settings dialogs (lots of them, where should I start) etc.

It has been checked and git contains these strings properly, localized, so do the Linux builds of 420b2. So something is wrong on OS X.

Just tried 4.2.0RC1 64bit on OSX with Slovenian lang-pack.

The problem persists.

Now the start center looks localized (as the English strings got updated/changed in the last week or two and were also localized by me, this obviously took care of them).

But the Settings menu still has all general entries in the left tree view (the LibreOffice subitems: User Data, General, Memory, View, Print, Paths, Colors, Fonts, Security, Personalization, Appearance, Accesibility, Advanced, Basic IDE Option, Online Update) in English, the same goes for the titles of settings subpage in the title bar in English.

A serious bug, for me a stopper for international OS X versions.

Settings dialog with non-localized strings

This screenshot shows the general LibreOffice settings left pane with strings, that should display localized, but don't.

Seems to be ok now.
