I don't agree because 1) it would be too long and waste important space 2) it would not align nicely with the existing names. http://cl.ly/image/1A2W3L1Q0F45 More opinions? Placing in NEEDINFO-state. I really would like to see some UX-advice on this topic :). Looks a delicate enhancement request. Although I see Milos' point, I agree with Foss :). Choices ... choices :). We agreed on our team IRC chat that the labels in the Start Center sidebar should lose the "New" label, and that "Text Document" should be used as the label for a new document, unless "Text Document" is far too long in a language, in which case it should just read "Document". (UX-advise replied, removing from CC, changing to NEW and adjusting this bug’s title to reflect the desired outcome.) Fixed by Kendy: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=3c65cee396d8e761113272daa47d8df17fa5d820 Looking good. Verified and +1 for this solution. "Draw Drawing" is an oddity but I guess we can live with that. |
