LibreOffice shows recent items on its launch screen.

The view is thumbnails by default. It cannot be sorted by name or date.

Both these facilities are useful for the user.

Allow the user to change the view style (thumbnails, mini thumbnails, list, details).

Also, allow user to sort the list by name, modified date, created date or path.

As requested in bug 80934, we can now filter the recent items by applications. I think sorting and different ways of presentation sounds rather like a task for a file manager and we will not do that. The last opened documents will be shown first.

Adding needsUXEVal in case of different opinions. Feel free to repoen.
