This bug is relevant to the KDE desktop environment.

Steps to reproduce: open a file in libreoffice calc, select save as, select type :.csv. Edit filter settings selection is greyed out. Can only save in tab delimited format.

Steps to fix: uninstall libreoffice-kde4 package.

Filter settings can be altered without the kde4 package but not with it. This is the case in both openSUSE 13.1 and Arch with KDE 4.11.3 and 4.11.4 respectively.

Do you use the generic Linux version provided by TDF on http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ or the version provided by your Linux distribution ?

Note: current stable version is 4.1.4 since 2013-12-18.

Best regards. JBF

I use the versions provided by my distros. In openSUSE I have libreoffice version 4.1.3.2 and on Arch I have version 4.1.4.2. Both have the exact same problem.
