Status: RESOLVED INVALID

Description M 2013-12-20 19:06:41 UTC
Selecting a range of cells and then hitting the Delete key on my Macbook Pro running Mavericks, also deletes border formatting even though formatting deletion, is un-selected in the delete dialog box.

This is pretty important, because I use the LibreOffice spreadsheet program 4 times a day and do repetitive delete operations. This is causing a pretty serious kink in my work flow.

That is the only bug I have encountered so far.

Regards,
hopeful and generally happy LO user :)

4.1.3.2, I think that’s the latest.

Please M, don't reproduce the message when answering, if you can answer here.

I can not reproduce with:
Win7x64Ultimate
Version: 4.1.5.0.0+
Build ID: d1bb23e95e3c4ffd325d739b52bfe2910368a03

Changed to Unconfirmed, to let someone with Mac do a try.

This bug has been reported and mark fixed in 4.0.2, see https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57661
Check the version in Help > About LibreOffice
Comment 6 M 2013-12-22 02:09:39 UTC
No sir, it is happening every time I hit the delete key

I’m using the very latest version, and can send you screen shots if you’d like. It is repeatable. I’m using Mac OS X Mavericks on a Macbook Pro late 2011 ,17”, with 8 gigs of Ram.

M please, don't reproduce the comment, it makes unnecessarily long the report.

Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.

Does this persist with 4.2.0.1? http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/

If so: Can you please provide a test document so this can be tested against and subsequently be confirmed. If your document contains sensitive data, please clear that or replace it with random information.

A step-by-step description of how to reproduce the issue is most helpful and will help to speed up the processing of this problem a lot.

Setting to NEEDINFO until more detail is provided.

After providing the requested info, please reset this bug to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks :)
