the problem may be that LibreOffice is attempting to save the document with a valid file name. should read: the problem may be that LibreOffice is attempting to save the document withOUT a valid file name. Also seen on Mac OS X Mavericks. When I saw this bug, the blue Save bar at the bottom of the window constantly scrolled to about 95%. I agree that the lack of an actual filename (as the spreadsheet had never been saved) seems like a probable factor. I also observed that there were some cells I could select while this was happening, and others that would seemingly ignore mouseclicks. These seemed to contain complex formatting and/or a mix of English and Asian characters, while the plainly-formatted cells with only English characters were responsive. I was unable to close the window after several clicks on the Close widget, but eventually used the Window menu to close the window and discard the document. |
