Description Laurent Godard 2014-01-03 10:02:16 UTC
When set, data labels are stuck at center of the data representation. no way to move them when selected

workaround :
- cut
- paste
--> will be moved at top left corner
--> now one can move the label

Tested with column diagram cylindrical 3D

Hi Laurent, thanks for reporting.

Doing so, after paste you have a graphic copy of the labels, not the labels.

You can reinsert the labels with righ-click insert labels.

The way to change the labels position is right-click on one of them and select format data labels - placement or through Menu/Insert/Data labels - placement.

I think it is not a bug, it works as design.

Please if you are not agree, reopen it.

Thanks a lot for your explanation
I found the placement list with the 3 possibilities

So i agree It is NOT a BUG
Sorry i missed that

but worth an enhancement. the 3 possibilities will not fit all the user cases to make its diagramm pretty

You can always report a bug requesting an enhancement. In this case please explain with detail what you want to be achieved.
