have you tried removing that shortcut, saving and then reactivating it soon after?
Comment 2 actionmystique 2014-01-11 15:20:13 UTC
Yes, removing it, closing LO and reenabling it works, but we shouldn't have to do that...
Comment 3 tommy27 2014-01-11 15:30:30 UTC
basically you are saying that a previous custom shortcut configuration in 4.1.3 was not working in 4.1.4 though apparently being retained in the keyboard options after upgrade.

did you noticed other custom shortcuts having the same issue after upgrade or the Ctrl+F8 was the only one to show that buggy behaviour?

1) On LO 4.1.4.2 Writer, Ctrl-F5 worked Ok, but Ctrl-F8 configuration was kept but did not work as explained earlier
2) On LO 4.1.4.2 Draw, I lost all Shft-Fn configuration.

interesting...
I reworded the summary notes since it seems a migration issue of custom shortcuts... some are retained and work, other stick but do not work, other are completely lost, right?
Comment 6 actionmystique 2014-01-11 16:37:28 UTC
Exactly
Comment 7 tommy27 2014-01-11 17:43:36 UTC
I cannot confirm issue but I put Petr Mladek to CC list since he deals with migration issues

@Petr
did you receive similar reports to this? is there a meta-issue to collect these migration misconfiguration issues?
Comment 8 Petr Mladek 2014-01-20 13:10:58 UTC
I am sorry but life sent me from LibreOffice to another areas. I do not longer have time to work on LibreOffice :-/

Anyway, it is pretty strange that it stopped working between two bugfix releases. There should not be any migration. I wonder it a bugfix affected the given hotkey.

Hi actionmystique,

Have you tried upgrading to 4.1.6 or 4.2.5? And if so, are you still having the same problem?
Comment 10 actionmystique 2014-06-21 10:25:30 UTC
I'm now using LO 4.2.3.3 on Ubuntu...
I'll try toc check that issue when I upgrade to next release.

hi there, LibO 4.2.5.2 is available and 4.2.6.2 will be released by the end of july. remember to give feedback about the bug issue once you upgrade.
Comment 12 actionmystique 2014-07-21 08:14:04 UTC
Thanks for the heads up. I've just installed the PPA so from now non, I'm aware of the latest LO versions.

With 4.2.5.2, the issue described in this thread has been solved.
