Description Christoph Thielecke 2014-01-14 08:27:24 UTC
If the toolbox with formula items is smaller than the list needs space, not all elements are displayed. Only known workaround is to make the size of the toolbox greather.

Please add a scrollbar if the items do not fit into the toolbox.

I agree that there is a need for a feature to access to the whole window content:
- "to make the size of the toolbox greater" is OK but rather rustic,
- a scroll bar is one solution ; it preserves the user choice for windows size,
- another is to enforce a minimal window size, like "Find-Replace" windows,
- another is to manage automaticaly the window size, like "Font-colour" windows.

Could be problematic (screen resolution, docked/undocked, ...)

This is the worst solution in my optinion. For example users with high screen resolution are willing to spend more place for this than users with small screen res

Note that "users with high screen resolution" are willing not only larger windows, but also higher zooms (as icons, formulas, etc become smaller and smaller). And only the WRITER main area (containing the document) is zoomable, to my knowledge.
