Problem description:

When editing a PDF file in LibreOffice Draw,
editing of properties of objects is frequently
impossible, because windows for this purpose
are shown "empty".

The problem is the most frequent for PDF files
with their original "main" content treated
as an image located in the center of the page.
I attach an exemplary file saved as ODG.

If you add an object (e.g. a rectangle) over
this image, and then you want to edit e.g. its
filling color, you right-click this object and
select "area". Then, frequently appears an "empty"
window, i.e. just th frame with nothing inside.
I attach an exemplary screenshot. This windows
also blocks refreshing of the LO Draw window,
if you place any other window over it the "mess"
stays until you close the property edition window.
Other properties (Line etc.) are also affected.
It seems that this problem does not cause any
crash.

The probability seems to depend on zoom, sizes
and point of clicking. When I move such object
out of the page, I am able to edit properties
with no problems.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a PDF with an image content.
2. Draw an object on that image.
3. Zoom, right click the object, select a property for edition.

Current behavior:
There appears only the window frame, with no contents.

Expected behavior:
Functional window for property edition appears.
Operating System: Debian
Version: 4.1.3.2 release

for me not reproducible with LO 4.3.2.2 (Win 8.1)

Does this issue still persist for you with the latest release of LO?
Can anybody else confirm this bug?
Is this maybe a Linux only issue?

Hi!

The bug seems to have been solved or at least to have disappeared with changes made in a 4.2 series release.

Adam
