Should this issue be solved set it to WORKSFORME. Setting to NEEDINFO until more detail is provided. First I had Vista and thought it was a Vista problem, I've installed Windows 7 and changed the HDD to a SDD but no change, everything was faster but not saving that file. On my linux system (openSUSE 13.1) I have the same problem, not as bad as on the windows laptop but still more than 20 seconds to save. On the windows machine it take 1 to 2 minutes.
