Thank you for your bug report, I can reproduce this bug, but wenn I open the file it already shows 1 instead of 0. Test details: Version: 4.2.0.4 Build ID: 05dceb5d363845f2cf968344d7adab8dcfb2ba71 os: mac osx 10.9.1 and Microsoft office 2010 on Windows 8.1 Yes, the problem is at both ends "Import" ans "Export". Pallavi Jadhav committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=01826dc12550e7a4204034f7876c593726525b54 fdo#74105 : Prservation of Numbered lists-Starting with Value '0' The patch should be included in the daily builds available at http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours.
