Still having this problem on latest LibreOffice 4.1.4.2. I am using the generic Linux version, not the one from the Fedora repo. Hi, could you try again with a newer version like 4.2.4 and report if you still meet issue with your printer? thanks in advance - Sophie With the new version 4.2.4.2, still having the problem. First page prints, then it hangs on the second. Still have to power cycle it. Cancel does not work. Still can print to file (PDF) and then print from PDF viewer just fine. Printed fine with: Ubuntu 14.04 Photosmart 1115 LibreOffice 4.2.5.2 release @Leeksoup - are you willing to do some debug work with me by doing a bibisect? I can help you with it but the package is 12 gigs. Also will you try with a fresh profile: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile Can try to help. Not sure what "bibisect" is?? I will try the fresh profile and report back. @leeksoup - thanks for trying the fresh profile. Bibisect helps determine what commit caused the regression. The download is quite large (12 gigs) but the actual bibisect process is relatively straight forward. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/HowToBibisect But perhaps the fresh profile will help on its own :-D Sorry for the delay. Things got crazy here. I tried the fresh profile and now printing appears to work. At least the test doc that always made my printer hang can now print ok. Thanks for the suggestion! What could be the difference? Anyway, I guess you can close this. If I have future problem I will open a new one. Thanks. Closing per last comment - Sophie |
