Hi Georgi, thanks for your report, but may I ask, what is the use of copying from Excel and then pasting in Writer? Wouldn't you open in Calc and then paste ? Cheers, Cor Yes of course that it is possible to open it with Calc, but the point is that it should work also from Excel (its a info placed in the clipboard and then pasted). For some reason this way its not working. Regards, Georgi P.S. In my case I'm using .xls file with build in VBA macros, that is the reason to use Excel. Just a note: sometimes I to experience that after a copy in another program, paste special is not available. Haven't tried to find out when/how.
