Hi Marcel, thanks for reporting. If you use "Save as" there is an option for edit filter settings, where you can choose the Character set for the file, maybe the issue is there. Hi, No, use it all time but, stop working on osX. I choose windows-1252/win latin 1. In windows it’s accepted but the same file in osX, where it is created, is not accepted. Problem description: Since around a year or more, the save to DBF stop working in osX because a character not recognize. The bug is located in the 49°14′58.4″N 068°08′00.7″W column. Steps to reproduce: 1. .... Open in osX to see the message 2. .... Open the same file in win to see it working fine 3. .... Current behaviour: impossible to save in DBF Expected behaviour: being able to save as it was since the beginning of OO even before in StarOffice if I remember correctly.
