Hi Hauke, thanks for reporting. Reproducible with all version, this is inherited from OOo. I think would be better ask for an enhancement changed for it in the importance from normal to an enhancement. I don't see any bug here. Cell A1 is selected, header A (for column) and 1 (for row) are highlighted in the 1st case. If you hide column A, only row header is highlighted. Only cell A1 is selected, what did you expect? Now select the merged cells, not only A1 (Shift+Click on the cell): Column Headers A to F are highlighted. Scroll to the right, cisible headers are still highlighted. Hi Gerard, I think the issue is that the black line on the border cell is not visible in a grouping cell when selected, if the first group cell is not in the window. Maybe not a great issue but not too much friendly. Maybe not a great issue but not too much friendly. Exactly, the border is missing ( as you can see on the picture ). It's not that bad, but quite confusing. Created attachment 94122 [details] Two Screenshots with simple explanation Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Group a few cells ( horizontal; e.g.: A1 to F1 ) 2. Select the group 3. Scroll to the right side until the first cell ( here A1 ) isn't visible anymore. Current behavior: The group-selection disappears. It's appears again when you scroll back ( to the left side ).
