I can edit and save test file with LibO 4.1.5.3 under Win7x64 why are you using an obsolete 3.5.4 LibO release? did you try upgrading to current stable release? Thank you for you test and comment. I use Debian and this version LibreOffice goes with the OS. Seems like I need to try to upgrade LibreOffice.
