Hi mcjarod, thanks for reporting.

You can find information about user profile, their location and their content in https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile.

If you have updating form a 3.x version, your macros I think mus be in:
...\libreoffice\3\user\Scripts
copying it to
...\libreoffice\4\user\Scripts
should recover for your new version.
Comment 3 mcjarod 2014-03-18 16:30:36 UTC
I update from a 4 version to an other recent 4 version, the macros must be in %appdata%\libreoffice\4\user\Scripts but is empty... I can´t recover the macros, in fact i created another but when i reopen %appdata%\libreoffice\4\user\Scripts is still empty... where are my macros?
Comment 4 mcjarod 2014-06-05 22:40:02 UTC
again I update to the Versión: 4.1.6.2 and again I lost my macros :(
Comment 5 m_a_riosv 2014-06-05 23:20:22 UTC
Sorry, my mistake, as it's explained in the user profile page.

Basic macros are in ...\libreoffice\4\user\basic,

Scripts directory is for macros in other programming languages.
Comment 6 mcjarod 2014-06-06 13:57:56 UTC
ok, I found the folder, but how I can recover my last macros? each time I update this macros are deleted?
Comment 7 m_a_riosv 2014-06-06 14:04:05 UTC
I'll try this weekend verify if macros are deleted when updating. Because I don't remember this behaviour with mines. But I have a lot of versions installed so I'm not sure.
In theory user profile is copied from previous version when exist.
Comment 8 m_a_riosv 2014-06-07 19:36:07 UTC
I have just do a test installing 4.1.6 version on 4.0.6 version.

Not loosed the macros or any else, that a I can see.

Try copying the basic directory from the old profile to the new.

Are you sure? when you create a macro, it is put in My Macros->Standard
If you say that they don't disappear what happen with my LibreOffice?

Thank you very much for the information.

WorksForMe is the right status here because we do not know what solved the problem.
