Hi dmoyne, thanks for reporting. At least from 4.1.6 version, is how it works. I don't understand why this ticket was marked RESOLVED FIXED. Sorry if I missed something, but this does not even seem to be a LibreOffice bug. If the font changes after inserting a certain letter, that could be because that specific font lacks that letter. Hi Adolfo, I can reproduce the issue with 4.0.6, and works fine in 4.1.6, so in some moment it was fixed intentionally or not, and it was a bug in sometime. I haven't 4.1.3 installed and I don't think in do it to verify a resolved bug. Resolved as notabug is not fine, but I don't want lose more time with a discussion about a fixed bug. |

Can you propose a defaut choice as desired in the window menu Steps to reproduce: 1. adding a special caracter in a text with the same font choice 2. .... 3. .... Current behavior: displayed font choice in menu is applied to caracter to be incluided in text Expected behavior: Target text font choice as default Operating System: Linux (Other) Version: 4.1.3.2 release
