When Writer open old document (OpenOffice.org 1) with password always say that password isn't correct.

If I create any document and save it as OpenOffice with password I can't open - always password isn't correct

Operating System: All
Version: 4.1.4.2 release

Go back to LO 3.4.x or earlier and try opening your document with that, then resave without the password. The encryption mechanism changed when 3.6 came out, but some of the changes were backported to 3.5.x (x = 6 or 7) from what I recall.

This is almost certainly a duplicate of previously filed bug reports, that may or may not be resolved.

Indeed, this is, as I suspected, a DUP of 47482

Having said that, if your problem still persists after having read through the comments and solutions given in bug 47482, then I suggest you add your comments to that bug report.
