I confirm the size of the PDF and that it is related to the dotted borders (only ~35 kB if plain line borders). To conclude that there is a bug here, we should know if the PDF format is able to handle dotted lines. Best regards. Created attachment 95881 [details] Simple 15kB spreadsheet with dotted borders will produce 577kB PDF Some ODS or XLS spreadsheets produce hugely bloated files when exporting to PDF. In my test file there are no embedded files, and only a subset of Times New Roman and ArialMT fonts. Compression is set to the default 85% JPEG. This problem appears to be related to cell border formatting. Current behavior: When Cell borders are set to a dotted line style in the spreadsheet, the exported PDF file is grossly over-sized; a 15kB ODS test file grew to to 577kB. Expected behavior: The exported PDF should not be orders of magnitude larger than the original spreadsheet file. Operating System: Linux (Other) Version: 4.1.3.2 release
