Given raw data points, one should be able to use dialog box based DataAnalysis Toolkit ("Data" menu->"Statistics" submenu) and generate the frequency table. in Gnumeric spreadsheet software , using menus one can mouse clicks, one can already "generate Frequency Tables from Raw Data" (VVIMP) PLEASE REFER: https://projects.gnome.org/gnumeric/doc/frequency-tool.shtml
