Problem description:
This issue happens when there is not enough free space between the insertion point and the end of the page, and the next page begins with some text.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Put the cursor near the end of one page with the next page full with text
2. Insert a picture (from a file) bigger than the free space
3. Notice that writer crashes

Expected behavior:The picture should overlap inside the current page with some text.

Operating System: Ubuntu

Hi, I do not reproduce with Version: 4.2.3.3
Build ID: 6c3586f855673fa6a1576797f575b31ac6fa0ba3 Ubuntu 13.10, the picture is sent to the next page. Could you provide your document or part of it to test with it. Thanks - Sophie

Thanks for taking the time to test this out.
This issue may have been solved with your new version.

I'll be able to confirm or contradict that once this release is available on the official PPA on launchpad.
