Description Manfred Volkert 2014-04-20 20:07:25 UTC
The writer only hangs when the created file in 'odt' format (large with 50 pages) is exported into MS 'docx' file. The export into a 'doc' file went without any problems from the same 'odt' file. Can this be fixed in the next update?

Hi,

Can you please attach a sample document that can reproduce this hang?

No, unless you fix it yourself... There are currently +6500 bugs in 'NEW' state (lets say of which 4000 are really fixable bugs). The one bug is nastier then the other... So unless you fix it yourself or find someone who can fix it for you, the only thing you can do is wait.

Kind regards,
Joren

Hi,
thank you for your immediate reply.

You'll find the reported file in the attachment in two formats ('odt'
and 'doc')
Regards

There are 832 linked images in this document. It may look like it is hanging but it is actually updating the links. It took me three minutes to save as docx.

Windows Vista 64
Version: 4.4.3.2
Build ID: 88805f81e9fe61362df02b9941de8e38a9b5fd16

Changed to RESOLVED WORKSFORME.
