Please attach test document and write exact steps.
Do you mean "save as RTF"? Does it happen ifa saved as ODT, DOC, DOCX? That should be in title.

steps to repro:

1. Create a new spreadsheet
2. enter values in to columnt a,b,c:

A B C
1 2 3
1 2 3
1 2 3

3. Hide column B
4. Select range A1:C3 (column B is hidden!)
5. Copy it
6. Open Writer document
7. Special paste - Rich text formatting (RTF)
8. Look at table in Writer -> it shows thin column B, that should be hidden

As described in bug 69289 comment 12, Writer has a hardcoded minimal width for cells (can't be smaller than 0.07cm). So when hidden (=with width 0) cells are pasted to Writer, they become minimal width (not 0).

So the only possible solution here could be remove the columns entirely on paste.

But if I insert that table with hidden column into Writer document as HTML, then I get a nice table without visible hidden column
