Created attachment 98087 [details] Example files and files to compare In some cases the update or calculations of formulas within Excel 97-2003 xls files are wrong! This behavior was found in all LibreOffice Calc 4.2.x versions (Calc 4.2.0 up to 4.2.3)! The same example files work correctly with Libre Office 3.6.x, 4.0.x and 4.1.x (Tested with Calc versions 3.6.5, 4.0.4 and 4.1.4) (By the way: The frame format export from Calc 4.2.3 to Excel xls and xlsx files seems also to have a problem. The example files are created with Calc 4.2.3. Open these files in Excel 2000 and check the frame style!) See attached example xls file. Compare also with .ods and .xlsx example files!
