I have copied cells from a xls-table with address-data containing email-addresses formated as hyperlink (mailto: etc)

-- that cell is formatted as "Excel_BuiltIn_Hyperlink"
-- can not be selected with a mouse-click on it - go there with the cursor works
-- can not set to format "standard" or to "remove all format" except with the format-menu, but that has no real effect, it is labeld as standard, but the hyperlink is behaving as before
-- casewise: can not be copied directly but in a range only
-- can not be pasted without format (paste content only) 

up to now the content needs to be retyped - which is quite nasty

Hi mhonline, thanks for reporting.

Menu/Format/Clear direct formatting [Ctrl+M]
works for me.

Without clear the format, you can copy the text with Menu/Edit/Paste special [Shift+Ctrl+V]

strange behavior

click cell does not select cell
move cursor to cell and ctrl-M works "partly"
-- 1.step ctrl-m
-- 2.step set to standard now works
this works with one cell and a "small" range
it does not work from select-all/ctrl-a
it works from the menu in the same manner


note:
cell can not be set directly to standard
although that item is in the context-menu
PAST ctrl-m, the context-menu changes and the 
item "standard" is not visible but "remove direct formattings"
But in that stat it can be set to "standard" from
the formats-flyout

shift-ctrl-v does not work in no way

I guess someone mixed something internal
