Thanks for reporting. Can you please retest using a more recent version of LibreOffice? (http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/) You also can use the PPA packages (https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ppa) to stay up to date. Thanks! Joren Subject: Re: [Bug 78811] EDITING: Copy Paste from webmail >Your message did not contain any text.Bugzilla does not accept HTML-only email, or HTML email with attachments. Textless message likely due to save after changing version exibiting the problem from incorrect 3.6.7.2 to correct 3.5.7.2 Jorendc, I must confess to accidentlly misreporting the original version number. It is 3.5.7.2. I found it as 3.6.7.2 on the bug report page. I appear to have changed that. I installed 4.2.4.2 and copying directly from webmail works as expected. After copying the same image from both gimp and webmail successfully, I saved the file and opened it in 3.5.7.2 also successfully. After successfully copying from Gimp an attempt to copy paste from webmail into 3.5.7.2 incremented the page count from 4 to 13/14 and ultimately 22 in about 15 minutes before freezing Ubuntu 12.04. Thanks for your request. Paste now works as expected. I didn't expect such rapid improvement. |
