Hi!

I work for a UK Label Manufacturer and I'd like to add our labels into the listing of labels under Libre Writer.  These labels are sold UK wide (and I think in Europe?) under the "Blick" brand.  We also produce labels for UK and Europe office Suppliers under their own brand.  Ideally we would like to add these label formats also.


I am happy to produce the XML code for the above, but I would like to confirm:

a) Is it okay to do so?
b) If I provide the XML code can I ask someone to add it to the code repository?  I presume I don't have access to submit the update (nor indeed do I need to)

If you're a developer it would be fantastic if you could add the patch but this seems reasonable so marking as NEW. 

That being said - enhancements are almost entirely done by volunteers and it's up to the volunteers as to what patches they submit. That's why I said if you're a developer it would be great if you could add the patch. If not - I'm afraid it'll have to wait until someone volunteers to take it on.

Okay, as I say I'm happy to produce the needed XML, but it may take a while to collate the formats we sell.  Once I have them together I'll see if I can submit myself, if not I'll post it here and hope someone picks it up.

BTW I love the fact that I found out how to do this, and had an answer here in under 3 days from my first Google search.  It's going to take me that long just to read and understand the M$ legal agreement to find out if it's even possible to add them to Word.

Should you have difficulties with adding the label definitons to the XML-file (which should be tested in LibreOffice too), I may be able to help you.
I did some coding and bug fixing on the label-code and the label definitions; adding new definitions is simple, but must be accurate with respect to the dimensions and positions.
