I can confirm there is no connector in writer. set to new. This is a feature request. If not you will have to redraw the whole chart in Draw and import it in Writer with the risk of breaking something in the document. Copy-paste from draw makes writer move all inserted connectors every time it opens the document. In Libreoffice 7.3.5.2 Writer and Calc we still cannot create connectors. Apart from this I pretty much enjoy working with Libreoffice. Please include this feature in a future version, I think it would be really helpful for many users. Not only the toolbar for inserting a connector is missing. A: When you have a drawing in Draw, where the connector geometry is changed away from default, and you copy&paste this drawing to Writer, the connector has a wrong geometry. The import uses the adjustment values as if they are given in Twips. It makes no different whether you select all shapes together in Draw or first group them in Draw and then copy them. B: A connector in Writer misses the "Connector"-dialog. That is ".uno:ConnectorAttributes". It is not simply missing from the menu, but it is not available in Writer at all. It should be in category "Format". I do not think that adding the missing functionalities is an easy hack.
