In Impress, when the Task Pane window are floating (not docked) the menu usually found at the right in the dialog window, the one with icons Properties, Master Pages etc., is placed on a fixed place in the dialog window. When closing and then reopen for example the layouts, the menu items get visible only after the mouse hovering over it. If he mouse pointer is over for example one of the layouts placed in the same place as the menu item, the menu item disappears more or less when the pointer is removed from the figure.
I think this menu should stay visible all the time on the right side in the dialog window whatever width I choose for it.
Or is this behavior intentional?

I have not found other bug rapports about this.

Hello Kolbjorn,

Thank you for reporting the bug. I am unable to reproduce it with any of the more recent builds of libreoffice. Can you please check if you can still reproduce this with 4.3.2, and if so, please let me know. It would also be good if you could send in a screencast of this, so i can better see where i may have gone wrong with your instructions.

The error is not showing up in version 4.3.1.2. At last I am not able to reproduce it. It now looks just as I wanted it to do.
Perhaps this was a temporary error in the beta version or a local error in my installation? I do not have the v. 4.3.0.0 version anymore and am not able to verify this.
Thank you for using your time on this.
